Zoe Balfour & Citabria Phillips Whats New


Citabria Phillips and Zoe Balfour have been dancing and competing together at home and abroad since July 2003. Each celebrated teachers in their own right, they are teaming up to bring you the opportunity to shine in the wonderful warm community of the Same-Sex Standard Dancing.

Here are some of their dancing achievements:

Gay Games in Chicago 2006
Bronze medal in A level Women's Standard
Several of their students also did well at the Gay Games, including couples taking 5th, 4th, Bronze and Gold in the E level of Women's Standard.

US Championships in Orlando, Florida on June 2nd, 2007,
Zoe and Citabria took first in women's standard and are the current women's US Champions.

April Follies 2007 & 2008
California State Champions -1st in Women’s International Standard.

EuroGames in Antwerp, 2007
7th in the A level women's International Standard.

They look forward to the gold this year in Barcelona.

Jennifer Davis Whats New

 

Jennifer Davis is a certified ballroom dance instructor with 15 years of teaching experience. Since 1996 she competed professionally in all major U.S. Dance Sport competitions including Ohio Star Ball and USDSC.

From 1996-2002 Jennifer and her former partner won numerous American Smooth Open Professional & Rising Star finalist awards, including two Rising Star championships. In 1997 they were US National Rising Star finalists with Arthur Murray International. In 2005 Jennifer competed in International Standard with partner Tadas Jonyla, winning both Open Professional & Rising Star finalist awards. In 2006-07 Jennifer partnered with former two-time U.S. International Standard Champion Stephen Cullip for a series of Bay Area performances.

Alise Halbert Whats New

 

Alise Halbert has been teaching and competing Ballroom Dance since 1996. She has competed and taught all over the United States as well as in Germany and England. Currently, she runs an events company, DancEvents, with two other partners and is working on projects to bring ballroom dancing outside of the traditional Ballroom Studio Venue. She also won a Bronze medal with Tianne Frias in the Standard A Division at the Gay Games, Sydney 2002.

David Estrada Whats New

 

David Estrada has been dancing since he was 8 years old, he started with tap, jazz and ballet and made the move into ballroom dancing at the age of 16. David teaches and competes professionally in both the mainstream ballroom world as well as same-sex dancing. He recently relocated to the bay area from LA where he was a co-founder of a same-sex dance network and performed for numerous events in this genre. David was last seen in the same-sex competitions at the april follies where he and his professional partner Eddie Alba were crowned California state same-sex champions in the International Men's Latin.
